The program operates through four distinct laboratories to counteract the impact of environmental degradation in areas with high socio-economic vulnerability. The focus is on replacing synthetic inputs with co-designed local organic solutions. Event 1: Multi-stakeholder field meeting in Kabare (Stakeholder Cross-Visit) focused on comparative analysis of coffee yields under shade and specific compost fertilization. Event 2: Technical training session in Uvira dedicated to the deployment of the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) adapted to local wetlands. Event 3: Practical co-development workshop in Biega focused on the formulation and application of the indigenous biopesticide BIOPEST-BNM to protect coffee plants.
